One of the last of my long scale basses is up for sale. Held out as long as I could, but carpal tunnel is unforgiving and I've got to stick with 32" scale basses, so...
Dingwall Super P5 in Dakota Red with the reverse P pick-up option. Fantastic player. Has some dings from 1st owner (see pics). Great passive sound.
32-35" fanned scale
19mm spacing
Light (I'm guessing 8.5 lbs)

Any idea what year it was built? Is there a noticible sound difference with your pickup placement? thanks

Man, these are good questions! Unfortunately, having not done side by side with a standard Super P, I'm not sure of the sonic difference. My guess would be more low end response. You could ask the guys at Dingwall, they are super nice. The Super P was 1st introduced at NAMM 2012. Mine is definitely a 1st year model.

OK, got the following from the forums at the Dingwall webpage:
"A reversed P renders deeper mids and less muddier highs. We played back to back standard P and the reversed version with the exact same strings on both basses and through the same amp and the difference was very defined between the two, like we were playing 2 different basses."
