Incredible Custom build by Rick at Moonshine Guitars (former Steinberger Tech). The Newburgh Steinberger neck and Steinberger Drop D bridge is worth the price alone. This one consist of not only beautiful exotic tone woods but a real deal vintage (dead straight) Steinberger neck. Absolutely the easiest playing bass I've used, seriously. The electronics consist of a Basslines J/MM combo with Bartolini 3 band preamp with coil tapping for each pickup and active / passive switch. It also has a Steinberger Drop D bridge and B&G headpiece for single or double ball strings. Tons of tone options with the attack and sustain of graphite. It was autographed by Stu Hamm on the top horn. Warning! This bass is not for the whimpy player because it has some weight to it sitting at near 11 lbs but hearing it makes it worth the pain.
