Well, I have finally and regretfully concluded that playing a 6 string is just not my thing. The additional C is just one too many for me to get used to. So it's time to face facts and put this awesome FBass up for sale...

I purchased this beautiful BN6 from moorebass (link below) and it's just stunning. Jeff does a much better job of describing it's character and tonal qualities that I ever could, so please refer to his posting:

SOLD - FBass BN6 | TalkBass.com

It has been an honor to have owned this bass, being that this was the late Chris Loe's custom ordered and prized trans-blue BN6. Since I bought it in 2011, it has resided primarily in it's FBass (Protec) case, only to have been played at one gig, two band rehearsals and then of course a few hours at home. That's it. So it is as pristine as the day I bought it, and still has the set of DR Hi Beams that moorebass put on before he sold it to me (which, amazingly, still sounds really good). I have since bought a couple of sets of Fbass strings for it, but never put them on. I'm including those, along with it's original grey Fbass (Protec) gig bag and wide strap with strap locks installed.

Price is $2,575 $2,500 $2,450 firm, PayPal, shipped CONUS. No trade offers, please.

I have no "fresh" pics of this bass, and the pics on moorebass' thread above are still accurate, except for the strings. If rules dictate that I post new pics, I will in the following days, but here's a good pic from his post to put something on here. Thanks for looking...

TTT again. Had a number of trade offers but, unfortunately, I need funds for this bass and can't entertain trades. Son's college tuition payment is coming up soon!

I thought Hipshot B-style bridges were standard on BN basses (at least it was on mine). Do you know if the Hipshot A bridge on this bass is an F Bass factory upgrade? An aftermarket upgrade? Thanks!

Thanks for asking! The bass is as it was originally ordered by Chris and made by George and company. Chris picked some great options on this including birdseye maple fretboard (sans markers), S/N inlay, bridge, thumb rest (which works quite well and doesn't get in the way), etc...
