Selling this absolutely gorgeous and mint condition Adamovic "Dark" 5-string. It was purchased from the US Dealer for Adamovic Basses, and I am the original owner. The retail price on it was $4,875 (US), and here are the features/specifications:
- Body Wood = Walnut
- Sound Layer = African Padouk
- Top Wood = Flamed Walnut
- Neck Wood = African Padouk & Walnut (5-piece neck)
- Headstock = matching Flamed Walnut
- Finish = Catalyzed Oil
- Fingerboard = Macassar Ebony
- Hardware = Hipshot Ultralite Tuners & Bridge (black)
- Pickups = Bassbars (Adamovic's proprietary soapbars) in Ebony covers
- Electronics = John East 3-Band Preamp (active/passive)
This bass is currently tuned E-A-D-G-C, but it could be tuned B-E-A-D-G with a new nut installed (I do not have a second nut to do this).
