Fender Road Worn Jazz

I got this bass in a TB trade. The finish was jacked up by the previous owner, LAG, but not disclosed. The previous owner went over some of the factory relicing with a black marker, and then I guess he tried to restore the areas by roughing them up.

It also appears that the back of the neck has seen some sand paper or a green pad, as it looks like the finish has been knocked down a bit.

$475, shipped.

Other than the finish issues, it is a very nice playing and sounding bass. Tight neck pocket. Strings line up across the pickup poles.

Serial number indicates that it is a 2011 model. CNC hole under the guard.

Includes a Fender Deluxe gig bag in very good condition.

Bass weighs 8 pounds, 10 ounces on my digital scale.

Thinning the herd. Not interested in trades, thanks.

(Brown tolex case not included. Used for pix only.)

This is a good price for a roadworn jazz, even considering the disclosed finish issues. It's a inexpensive relic'd bass anyway - someone should jump on this and play the crap out of it. I would but i already have one...

That is a smoking deal for a roadworn. I'd pick it up myself if I hadn't bought two new jazzes in the last month.

I've had several messages from folks wanting this, thanks.

Look, let me just add this, I'm in California, I'm already taking a beating on this bass. If you are east of the Mississippi you're gonna have to make an offer to help with the shipping. You don't have to pay for the complete shipping, or half, or whatever, but your gonna have to chip in. I just shipped another bass to the east coast. It is expensive, I don't care what anybody says.

Also note, if you are new to the site and\or don't have any feedback at all, you're probably not going to get the nod; unless you want to express mail a USPS postal money, which I will cash, before shipping.

Thanks, we'll wrap this deal up tomorrow at 7PM PST, I hope.

Dayum!! I know a few have already said this, but I'd love to grab this, I have begun to fear taking my Fullerton RI out to some clubs - it's just hard to keep an eye on it the whole time and it would kill me to have it stolen. This would be great for those sorts of gigs, it's a fantastic price and these are awesome basses.

I just can't swing it right now (my son's Bar Mitzvah is right around the corner - OY!

So somebody GRAB THIS now so I don't need to think about it any more.
