Trying to fulfill my P-neck 'jones'... but - just - can't - get my hands wrapped around one! Tried them all (almost)! I'm just gonna stick to my P's with J necks.
This is a 2008 American Std. P body - I recently acquired... I have (re)loaded with:
- Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickup
- Fender Deluxe Vintage bridge
- wiring harness from TB'er 'petrus61' (CTS pots, orange drop cap, switchcraft jack)
- Fender bridge cover
- Fender '60th Anniversary' neckplate
- (original pickguard)
* Body & pg have some (light) scratches & marks... I would say 8.5 out of 10
Neck:
- Fender American Special P- I purchased from 'theStratosphere' (slim profile)
- installed (new) Hipshot HB-7 tuners ('drop-in' screw holes)
* the neck had a small dent - edge of headstock near 'E' tuner (see pic #7)
& has a few VERY SMALL 'dents' opposite the third fret (tried to take pics - but just couldn't get them to show up)... you can 'feel' them but they are, again, very small! Currently strung with Roto Solo Bass (pressure wounds)... sound nice!
As with a few of my other posts... I have been spending too much (my own fault
) with west coast shipping - so I would LOVE a local sale - for now (I'm in Maryland) - will consider shipping (east coast preferred) if I can't get a local sale/trade.

They ONLY trade I am looking for is a Markbass Standard 151HR cabinet - with some cash coming my way... MIGHT be interested in a MB 104HF (4 ohm only)
