I have spent the last six months downsizing all music gear that wasn't being played regularly and without fail. I have also spent the last six months deciding on if I want to let this go.
This is my beloved Grove 51P. Nitro. Swamp ash. Chambered. Reverse headstock, Fralin. Faced in an extremely rare embalming crate. Here's a link to the build thread that will cover all of the minute details.
NBD Grove Guitars 51 P Crate Face Custom build w/ history
It is an amazing bass that sadly doesn't get the play time that it so deserves. I played it Sunday through Mark Robertson's prototype 1822 cab (Cat's out of the bag now, Mark!) and I couldn't wipe the stupid grin off of my face. If I was spending all my time playing bar gigs instead of CC, I'd camp this thing.
I'll go 1,100 on a sale, shipped and insured at my expense CONUS only. Not in any hurry to get rid of it.
I'd need 1300-1500 true trade value. I will look at any trade but I will warn you that the only thing I find myself in need of right now is a stellar sounding (easier said than found) Fender Jazz under 9 pounds, or a to-die for P.
I have an insane schedule right now so please be so kind to post that you sent me a PM so it hits my email feed.
Thanks for looking.
