For sale/trade is a Devon 4 string jazz bass with Bartolini jazz pickups and preamp. The preamp has a 3 band eq with a 3 way mid frequency switch. Ash body with a figured top and back. Maple neck and fingerboard. It sounds as good as it looks. I just put a new set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on it. The case is a softshell case, just like the cases that come with Sadowsky basses. The only reason I would like to sell or trade this bass is because I just can't get used to 4 string basses. I've tried over and over. Devon makes a real quality bass, but 5 string is all I want to play. I will sell for $1300 shipped to lower 48 states only. Paypal is great.
As far as trades go, 5 string fretted with active electronics is what I'm looking for. There's a small chance that I might be interested in a 6 string with active electronics.
