I have a set of NJ4's. 60's wound. Probably 6 inches of lead. Comes with covers. They have some glue residue on them. These were in a Geddy Lee jazz bass I had. $100 plus shipping for the set.

What's wrong with the cover or is it just a tape, can't see it clearly.

It is glue residue. The previous owner tried to glue the covers. No glue is on the pickups.
