I hesitantly list my Road Worn P-bass for sale. I bought this one here a few months ago while my custom bass was on order. My particular bass IMHO personifies everything great you hear about these instruments. Which is why I say "hesitantly". I don't play it that much because it's not what i'm into these days. However when I go to grab a bass and just play un-plugged it always seems to be this one. I've got some other things I'd like to do with the money tied up in this bass but if it does not sell I would not be crushed.

I'm 5'8" tall and not blessed with large hands or long fingers but I'm also not a guy that gets hung up on neck dimensions so the 1.75" nut does not bother me in the slightest. In fact the neck is great and the fret work is superb and ... totally off the hook for a bass in this price range.

When I got it, it was a very good playing bass but I had it set up professionally as I always do these days and it now it is an outstanding player that holds it's own with any p-bass I've had including the Mike Lull I sold last summer. I set off to spend money on the pickups but after playing the bass out several times I could not justify it because the stock pickups sound great. I did as you can see replace the pick guard with a black one. I did the relic job myself and it looks pretty convincing. I will also include the stock gold anodized aluminum one.

I'm not a flats guy and it is currently strung and was set up with D'Addario 105-50 Nickels. The bass is in the 8.5 pound range and I will get an exact weight up some time this weekend. It's ligther than my 9 pound Jaco Jazz bass but heavier than my 7.2 pound all carbon fiber Status. Included is the stock Fender gig bag (I think the hang tags are in it too but don't hold me to it) and the original shipping box.

$725 shipped CONUS. PayPal is ok, certified funds in the mail are better. Optionally this bass may be inspected or purchased in person at my business park office 20 minutes east of downtown Sacramento. I am also in the Santa Clara, CA area weekly and could meet a potential buyer there in the evenings after work.
