Hey Y'all,

I'm in a downsizing mood and this bass, although bought new and lots of fun to play, is one that can go as I spend all my time on my L1Ks.

What it is: a Trib JB2 bought new from Rocketmusic 4/2015. Natural ash body, rosewood board, 1.5" nut width satin neck (my favorite). It is in like-new condition and the only modification is the addition of a push/pull pot that gives series/parallel configuration on the pickups. I like the additional tone given by series - more punch, depth, and output. Kind of a P-like impact. The pics have some abalone topped knobs which will NOT be included when sold -- I will put the original knobs back on. Weighs in at 9lbs 3-3/4oz. The only flaw is a touch of winter (such as it is here) fret sprout.

$350 shipped CONUS paypal OK

I have more hard cases than basses now so for additional cost I can ship in a hardshell case if desired.

It makes a nice pair with your new fretless :-) Discount for local cash deal or I'll include a hard case for full price.

I'd also trade the body for a decent weight Trib L2K body (<9.5lbs) -- I've done that swap a bunch of times and I don't have any projects around . . .

fret sprout is where the wood of the fretboard shrinks (usually due to dry air) and the ends of the frets now stick out from the edge of the fretboard. In really severe cases (I had one, once) the tangs will stick out as well. If it's enough of an irritant to you a luthier/tech can file them for you -- get them done at the driest part of the year and they'll never bother you again.
