Brand spanking new Bacchus 5 String Jazz bass, passive with turbo switch. White with matching headstock. Not translucent.
Got this over the Christmas Holiday. Played at home a total of 6 hours, and at one rehearsal for 2.
I removed the stickers and the plastic from the pickups but not from the pickguard, and took off the pickup cover (will put back on prior to shipping). Comes with Bacchus gig bag. Can ALSO include a Protec Contego case for an additional $65. Either way, the bass will be well packed and safely shipped, insured.

The neck is satin, and the fit and finish are amazing (see other rave reviews here and on the web). It sounds stunning, and balances well. Further, the B string is clear and balanced; super impressive for a 33" scale 5 string.
Despite being just over 6' with a fairly long reach, I've become a super fan of 32" scale basses, and I purchased this one because it sounded and felt GREAT, and I figured it would fit my arms in a similar fashion. It does. The engineering is brilliant. I added Dunlop Straplocs, as I fully intended to keep her (I'll include the strap-side buttons with the bass).
However--the shorter scale makes the neck feel bigger overall, and it doesn't feel as comfortable in my left hand because the radius doesn't feel as small as I'd hoped (I should have known better--I love the 7.25-9" on my jazz necks). So I'm back on the hunt for my old Ibanez SR905 [the one that got away], or something that feels exactly like it that I can convert to passive.
