Details

Offering up my super clean Dingwall Combustion NG-2 in Ferrari Yellow. Excellent condition. Set up and plays as well as any bass I've ever owned. Will ship well packed but without a case or bag. It came to me that way and travelled beautifully. 100% stock.

I bought this to test the Dingwall waters to see if they suited me. They do. So I will sell this to facilitate another style Dingwall ASAP.

The only real trade consideration would be another Dingwall, preferably another regular Combustion, V2,or higher.

Right now I'm firm on my $1450 Paypalled and shipped to the lower 48 price.

I owned that bass for a hot second for the same reasons. It is a perfect instrument. I did a quick haphazard demo of it on my YouTube channel (WatsonTBass) before I shipped it to @nervous, who by the way is a top shelf TB'er.

Playability and quality is as good as possible. I'd say perfect. Tone is a matter of taste, and is extremely suitable in many situations. It can get MEAN, and thump, spank, and warm up easily. And while I LOVE the hot colors and styling of these NG-2's, I play so many jazz and church gigs, where I don't want my bass to stand out. A more traditional bare wood look is best for me, and the Combustion is a perfect fit. Dingwall has cured ALL my GAS for anything else, except more Dingwalls. Eventually I will probably own another NG-2, especially if I score a rock gig or something under more stage lights.

Exactly my situation. In fact there is what may be the near perfect aesthetic package out there right now that we have been discussing a deal on the past few days so I'm just trying to get out ahead of that. This bass is a monster tonewise though. The live low B and C have never been more clear and present. A joy. Can't wait for my next one. May even mull a Canadian version...

Thank you for the endorsement!

Oh man! I've just recently decided I want to try one of these out, only I'm waiting for a green one to pop up. That yellow ain't too shabby either though. Great price on this one. I agree; it won't be around very long...

You could wait a long time for the right color. This lovely yellow is pretty darned close. And they both start with Ferrari. Grab em while you can. If you find a green later you can easily move this one along. Short supply.

The pictures don't do it justice. Most pics make it look more like taxi yellow, but it is definitely a straight up Ferrari or canary yellow.
