Jome77 old bass. It's an awesome awesome bass! It's such a beauty and sounds fantastic but I rarely play it outside my home. A bass of this caliber needs to be played more often. I have a Sadowsky NYC on order and want to put this money towards the final payment. I wish I can keep it forever but in all honesty I prefer playing my sadowsky basses. They are less flashy, and I wouldn't mind if they get dinged up here and there (my metro of course)
Most of you Roscoe heads know everything about this bass but for those that are seeing his bass for the first time only pictures can describe this bass!! This bass plays just like how it looks!!
Bass weighs 8.61lbs to the dot. Mahagony back, wenge shim with accent woods around that, exhibition grade koa top!! Maple/Purple Heart neck with wenge fretboard, koa Roscoe inlay in the 12th fret. Matching koa headstock. Roscoe Barts with 3 band Demeter preamp, custom matching knobs!!
I cannot find a mark on her. Comes with original case and paperwork from Roscoe. Currently string with Roscoe nickels!! They still sound fresh after weeks due to low play times.
