I have been intrigued by Dingwall basses for years but had never played one, so I decided to finally try one out. I picked up this one a few weeks ago here on TB:

It's a beautifully crafted bass, and sounds fantastic, but it turns out that the fanned fret system is just not my thing. I guess I'm just too old-school. So, I thought I would move it along to someone who really can appreciate it.

• Arbutus Burl top
• 5-piece Bubinga neck
• Wenge fingerboard
• Dingwall FD-3 pickups
• Aguilar OBP-1 18v preamp
• Weight - 8 lbs 8 oz.
Overall excellent condition, with only a few small bumps (worst of which is pictured just below control knobs, can't be seen when playing). Includes Gator case in very good condition, with the exception that both lid-stays are missing, but clean inside and out, all latches and handle intact. Also includes two extra sets of strings that came with it, one marked "OLD" and the other marked "NEW." They've been in the case since I got it, haven't touched them, so I'm not sure of the actual condition of either set.
