The tuners were replaced with black hipshot ultralight clover leafs they add major MOJO and the B string has a Drop tuner. the control knobs are Black Hipshot Oring.The original bridge was also replaced with a new Black Schaller roller bridge. The control cavity has been copper foil shielded and properly grounded. the preamp has been replaced with a Glockenklang Active /Passive preamp which gives the bass so much tonal fidelity and can be bypassed for passive. The layout is Volume with active passive control as in pull up knob for passive, Blend pot, Treble, Bass. The Pickups have been replaced with Bartolini Quad 4 conductor P/U with the Neck wired up with a DPDT for series/parallel. the panel jack was replaced with a new Black Swichcraft. I sparred no expense in restoring and upgrading this bass into a tonal monster unequaled by anything youll find out there for the price of this great American Made Vintage Piece of art.
