Sadowsky Metro Will Lee in Candy Apple Red.

Another sweet bass I picked up as part of a trade deal. It’s probably one of the best playing and sounding four string Sadowskys I’ve ever owned and I’ve considered keeping it, but I’ve found that I’m more comfortable with the standard Sadowsky neck and body so I’m going to let this one go. It really should be somebody’s #1 player.

The bass has been babied - I can’t find a blemish on it. Only upon close inspection can you really detect that the bass has been played. It’s about as close to mint as you can get. It’s also a very nice weight at 8.53 lbs. Comes with the Sadowsky ultralight case in excellent shape.

PayPal is preferred, but I can make other arrangements if necessary. I will only ship the bass to a US address.

As far as trades go, I would be interested in the following +/- $$$ as appropriate:

- Sadowsky 4 or 5 string (NYC or Metro)
- Roscoe Century 5 or 6 string
- Modulus Quantum 5
- MTD 535
- Higher end lined fretless

Any trades would need to be on the lighter side, around 9.25 lbs or under.

The profile is actually a little thicker than a regular Sadowsky neck. It's very comfortable and fast. It's just a matter of personal preference.

I also have three other Sadowskys that I'm somewhat attached to and want to get this guy to a new home before I lose my resolve and keep it.

Dont take this personally, but I hate you.
In a "I wish I could buy this bass but I can't and you should just give it to me but you won't" kinda way?

I tried to pm you but I get an error message your inbox is full. This bass is the 24 fret with Sadosky the soapbox pups. It has VT. I have had this bass with maple board and it was just to bright sounding. The rw/Movado fb is definitely the way to go on this model if you want a warm tone. Please pm me and I'll try to reply to get through.

That's odd. My inbox isn't full and if I try to pm you I get an error message stating yours is full. I can send and receive from other members no problem.

I thought that as well when I had one a while back. Great bass but really bright with maple. Only B string I liked on a Sadowsky.

I just can't believe this is still here. I have one just like it and it's plays and sounds great. I don't find don't find it to bright and the VT can help it alittle on that end as well. GLWTS

I was talking about the M24 5 string being bright. Not the bass that is for sale.

I have an M5-24 as well as this WL (plus my other Sadowskys). I love the M5-24 but it sounds quite different than the WL. The M5 has a pretty aggressive tone to it, which I believe is by design. The WL sounds more like a really good ash bodied jazz bass (and then some).
