Jackson CMG. Not the current ones, this was MIJ I believe, and has the string through body option. Plays and looks ok for an old guy. However, it's always gone through batteries real fast. I don't play it much but when I finally looked close, it has a mono jack, so the battery was apparently always on.

I just disconnected the pre, and played it passive, but I 'll order a stereo jack tonight, and wire it up, and verify everything is working right if someone wants it.

These sold new around $600 if I remember right.

Edit :
Put a stereo jack in and the pre works fine. I presume it will also fix the battery problem but I should know for sure after a week or so...Now I'm thinking about keeping it...:)

Parts P. The neck is a vintage tint mighty mite and feels wonderful. The pickup is a Fender original 60's precision. The bridge came off a Matt Freeman squier. It has quality wiring with full size pots. Sound and plays great.

The body looks cool, but is a piece of crap from guitar fetish. There is a gap between the base of the neck, and the neck pocket that is visible. The wood is very soft, but it's also very light. I'd be surprised if it weighs over 8 lbs.

If you bought an unloaded used fender or mighty mite body this would be a hell of a bass for the money. But it's very usable as is.

SX andromeda. The pickups have been replaced with Fender noiseless, the SX headstock logo removed, and the "hook" reshaped.

The back of the neck has been sanded, and feels great. Plays and sounds much better than this cheap a bass should

One piece ash body and a little on the heavy side, I'd guess 10- 10-5 lbs.

Nice SX bass. Looks really classy with that beautiful ash grain and tort pickguard, and with the Fender noiseless pickups, this is a great deal. Is the bridge stock?
