I have my beloved Ken Smith up for grabs. This bass has been my #1 for about 8 years. I absolutely love the way this bass feels/plays and I have played it on many gigs and countless hours of rehearsals. This bass has a Flame Maple core and Walnut wings. Gold Hardware and the Ken Smith 3 band, 9 volt preamp. The bass dates to 2002 or 2003 (i can take the back plate off if you like). The action is very low and you get that Smith growl that is often mentioned in tb posts. This bass is a players piece and shows some wear, not abuse. Smiths are known to have light finishes so they wear pretty easily. All cosmetic, take a look at the pictures below. Personally, I love a worn bass. I think it feels better and looks awesome. This bass will come with the original hardhsell case (1 latch is broken). Ive never used the case, I have a nice Incase bag i prefer. Bass weighs in at 9.8lbs on bathroom scale.
Currently a new BSR5MW will run about $4800. Im asking $2300 shipped within the ConUS. Im not interested in trades except for maybe a Sadowsky Modern 5. PM me with any questions.
