Bump for a very, very nice sounding bass preamp. Engineers and audience members compliment my tone. I use one of these with a Crest 2.0. This preamp is New York made excellence with a Jensen DI. Too bad Aguilar does not make these any longer and I'll go out on a limb to state that they probably did not charge enough money for them. These preamps are overbuilt. And, it's okay that many people do not know how great they sound... They'll keep playing the alternatives.
In conclusion, I ring the bell for the Aguilar DB 659 very loudly !
