I'm selling my Musicman USA Sterling 5 HS (not to be confused with a Sterling by Musicman), Pacific Blue with a matching headstock and maple board. Weighs 8.7 lbs on my bathroom scale. Mint condition with the exception of some slight scuff marks on the pickguard from slapping and general playing. Not noticeable unless you hold it at the right angle but it's not an untouched pickguard.
I picked this up last September, took it on a few gigs and love it, but I have to thin the herd so this one is going. It's strung with Cobalts and cuts through beautifully. Position 2 with a bass boost gets a very good Jazz bass-like tone, better than my 4 HS, love the other positions as well. I'll miss this bass but I can't justify keeping it especially now that I'm not gigging as much.
