Details

I've got what I believe to be a 1989 (might be 1990) Fender MIA Longhorn Jazz with hard case. Lots of info on Longhorn aka Boner basses so I won't get into it here.

What's Stock: Basically everything - Neck, body, tuners, pickups, covers, pickguard, and control plate.

Not Stock:
-The TBX was already gone when I got it. I replaced the pots and jack with a CTS kit w/ vintage wiring, see pics. New Jazz knobs.
-Slightly wider fender "vintage" model bridge for proper string spacing (see Longhorn jazz threads). No new holes drilled. Stock original bridge included.
-I believe the case is aftermarket. It's SKB, is in good condition. Has some paint or something on the outside. Strap things inside to keep it from opening more than 90deg are gone though.

Condition: Very good, considering it's a 1989. No buckle rash or exposed wood in the body at all.

Imperfections:
-A few dings along the top of the neck. These are almost entirely cosmetic, can barely feel them.
-One 3/16" size ding right in the back middle (see pic). Can feel this one, but it's not sharp or problematic.
-A few dings in the top of the headstock, see pics.
-The strap buttons are a bit loose and should be repaired.
-The flash on my camera makes the seams of the 3 piece body really obvious. While you can see them in real life, it's not like the body is falling apart or something.

WHY: This was my first bass and plays and sounds great. A few months after I got it, I fell into an amazing deal on a Deluxe 5 that has just displaced this thing.

SHIPPING: I'll ship anywhere.

TRADES: I'd be interested in anything but a fretted jazz bass. Lets make a deal!

OBO: More interested in trades than cash, but open to offers there too. There doesnt' seem to be a lot of these for sale, so my price may be way out to lunch.

Quick question. I am looking at one of these on Criags list. They are asking $800 which seems really low to me considering a 1989-90 Vintage American made Jazz bass. What does Longhorn/Boner mean?
