For sale I have a vintage 1980 ARIA PRO II PRIMARY PRECISION BASS - PB-600D
If you've wanted a vintage precision but don't have the funds, then this one's for you! It looks and feels nearly identical to many '70s Fenders Ive owned.
For those in the know, this is a matsumoku built p bass, made to fender standards - exceeds fender quality IMO. I love these "lawsuit" aria basses, but I have my eye on something, so this one is on the block.
These came stock with real PAF Dimarzio model P pickups. It is loud and proud!
Alder body, maple fingerboard in good shape. neck is straight, truss works, frets are good. It feels like a "B" neck.
Overall condition is good with a few dings here and there, but not bad. The back of the neck is smooth and has been lightly sanded to take down the sticky poly feel.
when I got it, the pots were pretty bad, so I swapped them out for new 500k pots. I also put on black pickup covers, switched the pickguard to a fender anodized aluminum, tug bar, and put on a badass bass II bridge to give it a '59 P look
I will include an inexpensive gig bag and will ship with the neck off for protection and to reduce shipping costs.
So, I'll sell it stock for $350 shipped CONUS
OR with the badass/pickguard/pickup covers PLUS the original parts for $425 shipped CONUS
OBO of course!
