Hi, selling my Celinder J Update 4 with Greengrove preamp.
Bought it here on TB, from a fellow in Netherlands.
Very good overall condition, no scratches, frets in good condition.
Weight is 9 lbs
The woods are northern ash for the body, maple/maple fot the neck and fretboard.
Pickups : 70's position custom made for celinder by Kent Armstrong
Greengrove preamp, 4 pots : volume, balance, bass, treble.
The greengrove is usually presumed the best Celinder preamp
it's a 2 band eq, with bass boost and cut and roll-off treble (cut only).
There are dip-switches into the cavity to modify the amount and frequency of the treble response and bass EQ frequency curve.
I don't know the year it was made, maybe it's possible to guess with the serial ?
Since I'm located in France, I accepts shipment or for those wishing to travel to pick it up, I offer 1 week accomodation in Montpellier (South of France, nearby the sea).
