Thank you for the clarity.

You were 4th in line...Next time don't ask someone if they can guarantee a bass can get the action as low as you like. Maybe you should have provided your 1st and 12th fret measurement specifications. I can answer to a well educated question, not a subjective one. I have no idea what your definition of low action is nor could I guarantee it (how could I answer that question honestly and keep my 43 perfect feedback reputation intact?) Maybe a custom builder can better meet the standard you're looking for.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, came across abrasive, or was less than responsive to a question I could not answer. At the end of the day you have my undying respect as a fellow bassist and TB member. I did owe you an explanation at the least.

May I suggest you go back and re-read my question. I never asked or suggested you guarantee anything. I too have sold on TB, and have answered multiple questions. When I sold my Markbass TTE 500, I was ask why I was selling. I said because it was too mid focused and I prefer more of an old school tone. That member bought the amp and appreciated my honesty.

We are all buying and selling without the benefit of being able to take it for a test drive. My personal view, is we should all do our best at helping the member on the other side understand what they are getting.

Amen!

Joe,
I'll take it as long as you're comfortable that the neck/truss rod will allow me to set it up with pretty low action. I have a Mexi Jaguar and the truss rod is maxed, but the next is still just not quite low enough.

BTW ..I love that 51 Pbass in your profile pic? your's?
