While I know it may be a long shot, I am putting this up hoping to trade for an MTD 535, 534, 434, or a USA saratoga. This is an 06 Warwick thumb NT. I've added a brass just a nut III, hipshot tuners, EMG pickups, and an EMG preamp. Also Included would be the original pickups, preamp, and tuners and a gator gig bag. Not in any hurry to move this, just looking for something different. Open to other trade offers! Really interested in a Warwick Star Bass, Sukop, Mike Lull, Sadowsky, G.Gould. Shoot em at me! $2550 or make me an offer I can't say no to!

Do you still have the original nut available? I need one in 5 string standard width. (And am broke as a joke). Mine fell flat on its face and stripped the height adjusters, it is being held up by a piece of Popsicle stick.

Unfortunately I do not. Mine had stripped out, which is why I replaced it.

New one (composite) is about $40 right? When it happened back in 2010, there was a seller on eBay for $20, but I didn't jump and he sold out. An ex Warwick dealer so it was a one time deal I missed out on.

How much was the brass? Major change to the tone? If so, maybe I will get one eventually, put the just a nut II from my 98 wenge on the 2000 ovangkol, and put the brass on the 98 if it snaps up the tone a bit. The 98 is nice and warm, but lacks the snap of the 2000

Ya, they run about 40$ I believe. The brass run about 140-150 I think. They are both great. The brass however is far more durable, and it adds a bit more "Zing" to the tone. Especially the open strings sound more even with the rest of the fretted notes.
