Made in Korea
4 String Bass Neck-Thru-Body
35" Scale
Maple Body and Neck
Rosewood Fingerboard
22 XJ Frets
Pearlescent Inlays
Upgraded with all top-of-the-line components:
Gotoh Res-o-lite Tuners
Babicz Full Contact Bridge
Bone nut
GFS (Guitar Fetish) MM Pro Ceramic Pickups
Duncan Design BEQ-3 Active EQ (original spec), all electronics professionally wired
DR Nickel Low Rider Strings
Professional Setup
Rattle Can Refinish:
Dark Highland Green (Ford Spec #PY)
Tru-Oil Finish on Neck
Full disclosure: This is a DIY refinish. From the front, the paint looks very rich, deep and glossy – really striking IMO. There are some rough spots and blemishes, mainly around the heel and where the neck meets the body. There are a few imperfections in the paint – a very small ding on the top edge, a few pinhead size white spots here and there, and a couple very small chips around the battery door and back cover. The battery door has some scratches, and there is some faint scratching in the clear coat on the back. LTD logo is hand-painted and therefore a little rough when viewed up-close.
