SOLD!
If you're looking, you probably know that these basses are amazing. The parts were made in a Japanese factory and were sent to the NYC shop where they were completed. Everything on this bass works perfectly, but I have fallen in love with my Carvin Icon 6, due to the fact that it's a lot like my Icon 5 which was my main bass before moving to a 6 full time. I am on the fence with this, but I am listing to see if there is any interest. Price includes shipping and an aftermarket hard case (what it was in when I purchased it).
There are a number of superficial scratches and dings, but nothing that really takes away from what an amazing instrument it is! The quilt doesn't show up in the pictures, but it's deep and very classy looking. Even though the pickups are different for the MIJ models, they have that solid piano-like tone that Smith's are known for.
The weight is right around 10#, the scale is 34" and the spacing is 17mm at the bridge. Please ask if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
