Up for sale is a really nice, hardly played Fender Select P-Bass. Has original cool tweed select hard shell case and all the stuff in it (never opened!) Pretty much perfect shape except for one small nick in the lower horn back (see picture) Upgraded Fender Perloid pickgaurd. Really nice looking and playing bass. Weighs 8.8 pounds on my bathroom scale
$925 firm (THIS IS MY LAST PRICE DROP, iM MOVING IN 1.5 WEEKS...ONCE THE BASS MOVES IT WILL NO LONGER BE FOR SALE)

Any Particular reason your selling it? I only ask because I just bought one used from Guitar Center and I am not sure I am experienced enough to really feel or hear the difference over the other Fender P Basses I own. May start a new thread on this, but was just curious as it seems you hardly played the one you bought as well?

I have one of these and they are incredible instruments. One step below Custom Shop basses. Would love to have another.

This is an amazing bass at a crazy price!
Quartersawn select necks are a mile above any other fender neck I have seen.
If I did not have a clone of this bass this one would be coming home with me.
Someone will be very happy with the best recent Precision fender made.

I have one. They are custom shop built. I talked to a guy who works for Fender. They are made in the custom shop. One thing not obvious is the compound radius neck. It goes from 9/12 at the nut to 20 at the 20th fret. Makes it much easier to play in the higher register. Also, the phantom string tree on the A string is a feature you don't get on the standard.
And, the wood they use is the same as the custom shop. What you are really getting is a pre-configured custom shop bass.
