Selling a 1940's "Chubby Jasckson" Kay bass. It was originally a 5 strings but was converted before I owned it. Has that big punchy Kay sound and was set up by David Gage.

East of the Sun, West of the Moon.
That s.n. would put it between 1944 and 1945. Blue and white tag puts it just slightly close to post-war also, when Kay was not really producing a lot of instruments.

I really like old Kay basses, for a variety of reasons.
