Beautiful Roscoe LG3000. I believe it's Spanish Cedar with a rosewood board and FMT. The flame is awesome and beautiful. The bass has been setup recently and plays fast and smooth. This bass has sometimes been called a P bass on steroids and I think the description is accurate. It sounds great slapping though too. You will notice an additional pickup was added, this was done by the previous owner by Mike Lull, there is a switch to toggle between which front P pickup is engaged, and they still work in concert with the blend knob w/ the rear pickup, at first I thought it looked Dingwall-esque, I questioned the point of it but honestly it makes a difference and the #1 neck pickup adds tones that expand a typical Roscoe's tone base. The bass is around 9 lbs and not too heavy for me. The deep tones allow you to support the mix without bludgeoning everybody else, if you need to, and your guitar player is sufficiently douche-y enough, you can go there if you need to....head to head this will punch a Marshall stack in the face. It's a cool blend of hi-fi meets George Foreman.
