This is a rare and amazingly well built and beautiful bass. Benedetto is the premier jazz archtop builder and has only done 3-4 basses, this is one of them. His stuff is truly the top shelf and this is no different its build quality, playability and tone are fantastic as good as it gets.
Camphor burl top, unreal mahogany back, maple neck and ebony board. Duncan pickups all passive V/V/T. 34 scale and balances well for a bass of this style w the button on the back. Currently strung w Labella flats. Will ship in a gig bag very well packed.
Was well over $5K new so save a bit
on a rare and amazing bass.
I bought an Alleva and just not playing it much, also took it to just a few gigs and almost too nice to do that!! I did get quite the compliments on it though...
PM w Q's - probably no on trades am good on stuff....but never know. Wouldn't mind a Walter Woods + cash or something unique but would be a long shot .
