Offering for sale my beautiful Yamaha BB3000S with hard shell Yamaha
case and three extra tuners. This instrument is in very good condition, with a couple of small dings and chips (see photos). Plays and sounds like it should. The neck is straight as an arrow; absolutely no issues with this bass. Serial number indicates it was made in Japan in November 1985.
The tuners that are on it were just installed. When I acquired it, it had the four-screw tuners. One of them broke. After a long search I found a set of three-screw tuners. When I installed them I discovered that the bass had screw holes for the three-screw version, so I assume that was what was originally on it. In any case, the tuners work perfectly. There are visible holes (see photos) but I don't think that will affect anything except appearance.
