I have always really liked the lively Demeter tone, and got a good deal on this rig here on TB a little while back (SOLD - Demeter VTBP-201s/Crown XLS 1500/Gator 3-space Rack Bag). But between my big Aguilar DB750 for loud rock gigs and my Warwick LWA1000 for practice and smaller gigs, this Demeter/Crown is just not getting any playing time, so it's time to let it go.
The VTBP-201s preamp has the amazing Demeter tone popularized by the original VTBP-201 and the new Demeter VTBP-M-800D, in a single rackspace unit, with added convenience features like mute switch, effect loop level controls, and built-in Jensen DI.
The Crown XLS 1500 is a lightweight power amp putting out 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 525 watts per channel in to 4 ohms, and 1550 watts into 4 ohms bridged, in a 12 pound package.
The pair come in a Gator 3-space rack bag that's easy to haul, and the whole rig weighs less than 30 pounds.
I got a good deal on these, and I'm asking what I got it for, so price is not negotiable. Will consider trades for basses (I'm particularly interested in a nice fretless) or portable high-end cabinets.
