I’m the original owner from new and not a mark to be found anywhere, it looks and plays factory fresh - recent 2015 build. Three standouts for this beautiful bass are the neck-profile, the flexibility and amazing articulation of the pickups/preamp and the ergonomics. Marleaux has to be one of the most under-rated luthiers known! I’ve been lucky enough to call this one mine and will be back without a doubt. Only reason for its sale is to truly dedicate my focus to being proficient on 6-string basses. I had to do something similar years ago when I went from fours to fives, and this will be the only way I stay the course.
