Ibanez SR1405 in very good condition. This bass has a super fast neck and the action is slammed low on this guy. It has the stock Nordstrand Big Singles pickups and 3 band EQ. It also has an EQ bypass switch and mid-frequency switch. This bass sounds like a modern jazz bass on steroids. The preamp is super flexible and extremely usable. The bass control doesn't get too boomy like some cheaper models. The mids have a mid-frequency select switch. Active passive bypass switch also. B string is nice and tight and not flabby. The 5 piece wenge/bubinga neck is super rigid and has not budged at all on me yet. Frets are in great shape with minimal wear evident. Gold hardware with 2 over 3 tuners. This gives the B string a little extra length for tension. Bass comes with an Ibanez padded gig bag. There is a scuff on the bottom edge of the bass that is shown in the picutres. These are usually $1299-1499 new. Get this one for a lot less. Also has recessed strap locks that will come with the lock ends.
A note on the overall condition: As noted by the picture, there is the scuff on the bottom bout. I've also noticed a few small dimples around the body that I cannot get to show up in a picture. It's kind of the nature of these naturally finished bodies. I noticed 2 small dimples last night when weighing it. Nothing major at all and no finish has been removed because of them. Very minor cosmetic only imperfections. Just trying to make sure everything is documented as best I can. Other than those items, this thing is smoking.
