Up for sale only (sorry no trades) is a gorgeous Pedulla Rapture PJ 5 bass that I bought from TBer SanDiego Harry a little over a year ago. You can still see the pics from the listing started on Aug. 17, 2015. It is one of the nicest quilted blue tops I have seen and is extremely comfortable to play. There are no dings or scratches on the bass. Everything works like new and there are no issues with the bass. Quilted maple top and maple neck and fingerboard. Weight is a hair under 9lbs. and string spacing is 19mm. I paid $1700 plus $95 for shipping. My price of $1600 is firm and includes Fed Ex ground insured shipping to CONUS. US buyers only. Original hardshell case included. I'm selling most of my gear to cover medical expenses. Hate to part with this one.

Hi. Thanks for your interest. The pickups are Barts. Not sure what Pedulla uses for a preamp. I'll check Pedulla'a website. Somebody on TB probably knows without checking.

All Pedulla sound and play incredibly. Period. One of the oldest, most consistent, incredible builders on the planet. The basses are powerful sounding. The preamp is a proprietary design made by Bartolini for Pedulla. I don't know what the differences are from off the shelf type Bart preamps, but whatever it is? It works!

You can pull up the pics that were from the TBer (SanDiego Harry) that I purchased the bass from last year. Send me your email and I'll forward more pics. The tone is of course subjective but I think it is warm yet bright enough to cut through a mix.

Thanks, she is . I have owned 6 Pedulla's over 40 years of playing. This one is my favorite. The neck is beautiful birds eye maple and the perfect feel not thick and not too thin.

Why you gotta do this to me, OP? Blue body finish...not just a maple board, but a BIRDSEYE maple board...five string...highly reputable make...GGGAAAHHHHH!! This thing is awesome...:rage::banghead:

Yes, yes, I do...but do you know what else I want? For the Canadian dollar to be at par with yours, and for there to be no fees involved (beyond shipping...I can live with that) RE: importing an item from the USA...but as that song by a certain overrated band goes, "you can't always get what you want..." :roflmao:

Also: your ad states 'US buyers only', so as a Canadian I'm out of luck anyways...:laugh::whistle:

Wow, have people actually been LOWBALLING you on this thing? I can understand trying to knock some off the asking price, but it sounds like the offers you've received have been kind of insulting...:eek:
