I'm not sure about a graphite rod in the neck, but I doubt there is one...

i figured to some guys sensitive to nut width, it could be an issue. i know theres dudes who do 1 7/8's and lakland nut width doesnt bother them, but those who prefer that narrower nut have trouble going wider.

The Lakin basses have been real slow sellers lately. I have sold some recent listed Laklands in the past couple of months, but previously listed Laklins have not sold yet.

I could be wrong but I thought all along that the spacing at the bridge on these was 18mm. Which is why I never jumped one. It seems his website in down for spec info.
