The ONLY trades I'm interested in:

Rob Allen Deep 4 string with magnetic pickup/fretted neck

MusicMan Sterling HH 4 from the Neptune Blue PDN or Honey Roasted PDN limited runs

First is a lovely Fender 70s reissue Jazz bass, it's an FSR that was made in the USA around 2000-2002. These are some of the best Fenders I've ever played, I wish they'd do a Precision exactly like this. The neck is rosewood with pearloid blocks and white binding, it's a 3 bolt with neck plate and the headstock is painted to match the body. The body is alder with a Candy Apple Red metallic body finish. Pickups are stock single coils, they sound great but they will hum when soloed. Controls are volume, volume, passive tone. Comes in the original black Fender tolex hardcase with case candy included. Condition is excellent, but the holes for the bridge and neck pickup covers were drilled, otherwise there's some fingerprints and pick scratches on the pickguard but overall the condition is very clean. Weight is on the light side for these at 9.1 lbs.

Price is $1300 shipped SOLD

Second is a near new Mike Lull V4, other than a little bit of scuffing on the pickguard around the neck pickup it's super clean. The body is swamp ash with a clear gloss finish and the neck is Jazz width (1.5" wide) with a maple neck and beautiful birdseye maple fingerboard. With the tort guard this bass looks really great, and the finish really shows off the lovely ash body. Mike modified the wiring so the middle knob is a push-pull to put the pickups into series or normal parallel mode. In series (knob down) the neck volume is the master volume and the middle knob does nothing, with the knob up the bass works like a normal Jazz bass with two volumes. Weight is light at 7.8 lbs and it comes in the nice heavy-duty ProTec bag Mike offers.

Price is $1800 $1750 shipped SOLD

Third is a brand new MusicMan Caprice. This is a really nice passive MM bass but I'm not sure why I bought it. I already have a bunch of spectacular Mike Lull P basses so while the Caprice is very nice, it's not better than my Lulls and it's not going to get any play time. The body finish is black gloss and the plastic covering is still on the black pickguard, so all of the little things in the picture are just reflections or scuffs in the plastic covering the guard, not finish damage. Weight is surprisingly light for an MM bass at 8.3 lbs, balances well on a strap with a slight heaviness at the headstock. Comes in the brand new molded MM hardcase with all case candy. Sounds like a PJ with normal passive vol/vol/tone controls and nice full sound. The neck is a very comfortable Jazz width and shape.

Price is $1175 shipped SOLD

Very interested in the Lull jazz. I tend to favor maple fretboards. I have a passive Lull jazz and P. The P has a jazz neck, both rosewood. My Lull jazz is pale blue, matching head stock. But, I really like the natural jazz. I just need another day. Mike signed my P, so my jazz would have to go.
