This is a project I completed a few weeks back and realize I like a P sound better.
What it is:
Fender Road Worn Jazz body with original Vintage pickups and pickguard.
New Upgrade controls - stacked knobs (volume/tone for each pickup) with cts posts and new wiring.
Added thumb rest and Bad Ass III bridge and schaller strap buttons.
Complete Fender MIJ Precision (PB50) maple neck. The body was routed out a bit at the back to fit the neck (no issues here).
Strung with DR Legend flats - plays and sounds great with no issues.
