Hello Talkbass. I am relisting my Talman 600 for sale. I very recently found out that I am going to be a expecting my third child. I need to raise some more funds!

As for the Talman, this bass is killer. Nordstrand Designed pickups mean business. The P sounds like wonderful solo'd, the PJ sound is scooped and sizzles, and the solo'd J tone has more beef than your average single coil. The treble knob is the tone knob in passive mode and it kills while passive.

The bass is very playable. Neck is straight and true. Truss rod works as it should. Transparent white with a matching headstock and a bound and blocked neck complete the look. There is a small blemish by the bridge courtesy of Ibanez, but it is not very noticable. The bass weighs just under 10# on the ol' bathroom scale.

The bridge was upgraded to a nice Gotoh bridge with titanium saddles by my dad.

$350 shipped CONUS! Get a great bass for a great price!

Thank you! I'm very excited for the new addition to the family. The baby is definitely more important than my bass collection!

It will be a great bass for somebody. It is the most Fender sounding and feeling Ibanez I have ever played. Good for a familiar feel and sound with a different look.

Congrats on the child on-the-way. This is the good stuff.

I bought a red Talman 100 from one of our Talkbass brothers when I got back into playing bass, and it is completely solid and musical. One of my bass students ended up buying it from me, so I see it every week, and play it a bit some weeks. This one offered for sale has upgraded pickups, bridge and a pre - I bet it's a killer, especially for 400 smackeroos. GLWS

Ad needs to read For Sale, if you don't want trades? Congrats on the baby!

I will always consider trades. I have accidentally landed some of my favorite gear through trades. That said, I don't have a list of desired trade bait. I like unusual stuff, short scales, cool pedals, etc... and I can always add some cash for the right trade.

The Talman is a great bass. So nice it threatens my #1. My #1 just plays a bit better and has an extra string I enjoy from time to time. The rest of my 4 string playing lately has gone to the short scales. It is a shame for this Talman to sit.

Thanks for the well wishes! We are very excited about the new baby, especially now that the morning sickness has passed.

I bought a Talman 100 when they were first released. It was a very solid bass that was playable straight out of the box from Sweetwater. I'm actually considering purchasing the 105 and putting new pups in it. Those basses are great for the price.
