Details

Josh built this custom pedal for me awhile ago and did an amazing job. If you are looking for something that does the sansamp tech 21 VT bass sound but without the compressed bottom, this is it. If you want Doug Pinick in a pedal, this is it. It has a Jack so that you can trigger the pedal on/off with a remote footswitch, in case you want to mout it in a safe place up off the floor. The signal is split by a buffer and then to a crossover. A crossover knob determines which frequencies go through which circuit. So, if the xover is set at 500hz, 500Hz and lower stays clean, 500Hz and higher goes through the VT Bass circuit. Additional lows have been trimmed on the VT side to make sure the drive stays clear and grindy. $250 shipped in the 48 States.

Sorry if I missed this in the video- the Volume/Level just affects the Drive side ala Darkglass, or the whole signal? And I assume the EQ only affects the Drive as well?

That is all correct so, the low passed side is unity gain and the high passed vt side is controlled by the volume knob.

I would like to trade for a broughton tube pedal of some sort, ideally. But, it is still for sale too.
