Hey TB,

Recent changes in the family has me quitting my professional music career. I am selling off all of my very coveted and amazing gear. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.

-Two piece maple neck w/ maple fingerboard, 21 frets. Mild run-off on the highest frets (done by TBer walterw!) to compensate for a slight lift.

-Cherry sunburst

-Original pickup but upgraded with an EMG BTC preamp...big improvement! I'll include the stock pre should you wish to re-install.

-Also sports the "DIY Bridge Mass" which utilizes the pass-thru ferrules to accentuate the clamping force between the bridge and body. Can easily be removed.

*Dunlop strap locks.

...and my shed, and neighbor's house, and yard that needs raked, etc.

This is a really nice 1505: great sounding and lightweight for a G&L fiver. Buy it today and I'll throw this in for nuthin':

This is a nasty-ass squirrel (...one of many) who resides in the oaks. The white object is a beef bone he stole from one of the dogs...he uses it to sharpen his teeth.

Im not sure why these aren't more popular. These are Stingray killers. Such great basses!

so the emg preamp, it's volume, bass, treble control? the mini switches work like normal?

Yes and no. The switches are series / parallel and active / passive. The stock G&L preamp, when in passive mode, allows bass & treble roll-off. The EMG preamp does not. Minor trade-off IMO.

So now it is essentially an active bass

Still sounds really good in passive as-is...the series / parallel switch will change the character, though. You can always re-install the stock pre if desired.

FTR: TBer walterw installed the BTC at his shop so the work is 100%. This is the most transparent pre I've used...you'll be hard-pressed to hear much of a difference toggling between modes when flat. No volume jump, either, as there's virtually -0- unity gain when engaged.
