Fretless

This is an Awesome fretless bass. The body was a masterblaster project and the small cream nobs give this a very hip look. The neck is a perfect Mighty Mite with ebonal fingerboard, 1 5/8" nut, straight and sounds very good, with Fender tuners. Pickups are Delano JC Humbuckers and the bass is loaded with Labella White tapes.
This has been my number one studio bass for the past 2 years but I am moving with my 6 string and need the room. This is, by far, the coolest bass I have.
Paint job is not perfect but for all practical purposes very good with one minor chip by the bridge. Neck pocket is not super tight, but the bass plays and sounds great. The Delanos with full covers keep the bass quiet even with the tape wound grounding issues.
$450 shipped to the cont USA, includes a basic gig bag. Add $50 and I will include a decent classic Fender hard case. $50 off for local NYC pickup.
Might consider trades or partial, could use a reverb and or looper pedal. Pretty well set on basses.

Dice came with the strings. I guess a new Labella thing.

Just so you know - LaBella does not take anything for the chance. Since they put some of there strings in one package those are so that you know what string you are putting on at a time. Usually I take them off before I put the string on.

But it does look kinda interesting.

I get it. I decided to use them just to keep the wrap of the saddle on the E.
Make an offer, you will not be disappointed with this bass

The side dots.....are they like on a fretted bass or where the actual note is?

I am not sure about the body wood, just a standard japanese parts body, bass weights 9.5lbs.
Here is Masterbass's note about the body when I bought it.
Its a new a/m Japan body, finished in about 6 coats of Sonic Blue nitro with 3 coats of urethane clear. Its been machine buffed and hand polished within an inch of its life.
This is a very good fretless jazz for the price. Very good neck, great pickups on a very decent body with a sharp looking paint job. As good as any none boutique fretless I have played. I just do not need a 4.
