View media item 11500I bought this used in 1999 from Larry Morgan's Music in Garland, TX (RIP) and supposedly it has a bit of a backstory. They said it originally belonged to Lyle Lovett's bassist and that he had sent it back to Eden to do a whole host of improvements on the interior stuff. Sorry that I can't be more specific; I was 19 and didn't really understand much of it at the time. :D

I was never able to verify any of the backstory, but I can say that this amp has served me well with about 5 years of light gigging in mostly jazz, restaurant, and lounge venues. It's just not getting any use now so time to let it go. Works fine AFAIK (pics taken a few months ago). Ships with case.

Asking $600, includes shipping.

An absolute classic, and one of the best bass amps ever! I wish I had noticed this listing about 10 to 14 days ago because I probably would have bought it. However, I spent my money on a Mesa Walkabout Scout combo amp just a few days before Christmas.

Just curious your picture reads 800b on the back? Why is that. Thanks

Wow, ok I've never actually noticed that B before and admittedly have no clue what it stands for. Since I bought it used it didn't come with a manual or anything.

I don't think it refers to the model type: A, B, or C. I could be wrong but I always assumed that this was an A model because of the year it was made (94) and the fact that it is 400 watts per side where, I believe, the B and C models were made later and are 440 watts per side.

I love my WT-300!!! I have a Ampeg, GK, Markbass and Fender. I grab the Eden every time. It sounds great in every situation. You can never go wrong with Eden. IMHO

I think yours was upgraded with an old back plate left on. I think you might have a 800b on your hands.
Well, that would make a lot of sense actually given the backstory. The guys I bought it from did say that it was bumped up to 1000 watts - that part I do remember. Thanks fer the insight there!

I guess this begs the question of its value and how the heck I should advertise it. :/
