I am the original owner of this bass cabinet. I purchased it new around the mid 1980s or so from Music Gallery in Highland Park. The walls of the cabinet are particle board. It has a single 15" speaker (120 watts/8 ohms) and it is ported out the front of the cabinet. The speaker is the original one that it came with. Back then, Sonic sold empty cabinets to music stores and they put in whatever speaker they wanted (see label on back of speaker in picture.) I have no idea what brand the speaker is but looks like they just pulled it off the shelf since it even has the price (of the speaker not of the cabinet) listed on it.
The cabinet works and sounds just like you would expect a 15" to sound. It is solid and there are not rattles.
The cabinet is 21 1/4" high, 15" deep and 18 1/2" wide. It weighs about 53 pounds.
The cabinet has some scuffs. One side of the handle is missing the trim piece. The hand is firmly secured as the trim piece offers no extra support (see picture).
The cabinet comes with a denim cover.
