I got this bass after I broke my neck a year and a half ago, it saved by sanity while I was healing up. It's still a blast to play and it sounds great, but I'm not gigging it now so on to the block it goes.
This is a 28.6" scale length instrument with an agathis (edit: original post said mahogany, I think that's just the newer ones) body and maple neck, 1.5" at the nut, weight is less than 7 lbs. The electronics have been upgraded with a set of EMG PJx pickups and preamp (V/V/T). I paid more for the electronics than I did for the bass, but they sound great and are more open and organic than the original EMGs. I also popped some chickenhead knobbies on there and StewMac "Gripper" strap buttons. Absolutely no issues, electronics work great, frets are as new, trussrod turns freely in both directions, some minor finish imperfections but no noticeable ganks, no dents or imperfections on the back of the neck, 2nd gen of tuners that Ibanez used on this model, they're smooth and stable. Bridge intonates without issue or modification and I have it set up low with no buzzing.
$280 shipped CONUS, add $20 to go east of the Mississippi. Will ship in an minimalist (unpadded) Ibanez guitar gig bag that fits OK, not perfect.
Size comparison: 34" G&L, 30" Jag SS, this guy:
