Body is in great shape. A new body with the same specs would run $587.00 plus $28.00 for the pickguard and $20.00 for the control plate. This is about as light as you'll find for a body like this. I built this out as a 7 lb 10 oz bass.

Different lighting conditions can make the body appear lighter or darker. The back is a medium-to-dark brown and is not nearly as orange as a few of the pictures suggest. Most of the pics of the top are fairly accurate at representing the colors.

Disclosures (sorry to write a book, but I want to be thorough and upfront): I've tried to show the blemishes in the pictures, but I had trouble getting some of them to show. The worst of the blemishes is a small finish chip about 1/8" on the E-string side of the neck pocket. There are three small finish dents and scratches, one dent on the forearm rest, one scratch near the neck pocket, and a third scratch near the bridge. These blemishes are only mild scratches in the clear coat.

There are some areas of finish hazing where the strap button felts were, where the neck bolt plate was, and under the bridge. I used a plastic neck plate pad to protect the finish, but it and the felt washers obviously reacted with the poly in some way. The picture of the backside of the neck pocket looks much worse than it does in person and does show a little chipping by the neck and strap button screw holes.

There are 10 tiny Sharpie marker dots on the surface of the body that mark where the pickguard holes should be drilled. I had originally intended to install the pickguard but I never drilled the body for the pickguard holes, preferring the look without the guard. These marks are tiny, and can't be seen from more than two feet away, even if you know the marks are there. You can see some of the marks in the pictures. The sharpie dots have been cleanly removed. (Thanks, bajocallao :))
