Sold another bass - so I'm now considering trades for this rare beauty! Only looking for fretted 4 string basses in 9/10 condition or better.
This is an ABSOLUTELY MINT condition (I believe it to be a) 2001 Stingray 4H - in the rare Egyptian Smoke color, with matching head stock. Even the head stock is in perfect condition! NO marks or dings.
Seriously - this bass looks like someone bought it and stashed it under a bed, since the day they bought it.
Set up is great - plays and sounds great! Don't have a scale but it's lighter than my other 3 Stingrays.
Even the case looks (almost) new! Some case candy, as well.
Selling this Stingray - because my other 3 have marks or dings - and I'm afraid to play this - and be the first to scratch it!
I traded a Sterling for it - maybe a year ago?? I've NEVER gigged this bass. I'm not a collector - and there's a few things I'd like to pick up / try - so this - and (2) Stingray (USA) SUB basses are on the selling block.
