ROSCOE SKB 3005 w/Demeter Preamp. $2500 shipped CONUS
This is a Roscoe SKB 3005 bass I believe from the early 2000s. I've owned it most of its life and it has been taken great care of. This has the Roscoe Demeter preamp, which is becoming rare and is highly praised by many Roscoe fanatics. Absolutely incredible fusion-type tone!
No issues with this. Has a beautiful, black ebony board and mahogany body. The neck is maple/purple heart. I believe the finish is called antique yellow. Incredible quilt on this bass.
This is a bass that I always told myself I'd never sell. Need to pay some medical bills so I've decided I will sell...but only if the price is right.
This is not a "Standard"...this is a high end Roscoe SKB.
It's currently strung E-C but if you decide to buy and if you would like, I will string it B-G and adjust it accordingly (might require a slight tweak of the truss rod and intonation).
Pretty sure this is just standard spec...

18.3 mm spacing (don't have calipers...used a straight edge ruler)
9.6 lbs (per the bathroom scale- may not be perfectly accurate)
Comes with the Roscoe hard/soft case seen in the pic.
